Worms is a strategy game with a difference... it appeals to
the dark side of human nature. Basically you control four
worms who are at war. You must try and use the weapons at
your disposal in the best possible way - or at least to the
most devastating effect.
Each player enters their team names and worm names. Then the
battle begins! A new landscape is created which can be on a
variety of backdrops with effect gravity, amount of wind,
friction and skid potential. Players have a varied arsenal
of weapons.
Each player has a limited time in which the player can move
and make fire (in the demo this is 60 seconds). After they
have made their move, the next player has their go. Because
it's turn based, a lot of the strategy is very visual which
gives other teams clues and ways to plan out their action.

The Abondonware Search Page has a very big index of
abondonware games. Abandonware is software that was once
sold, but is now no longer sold by the distributer. When
you search for a game, you will get a listing of sites
where you can download that game. It's very handy! So you
don't have to check several abondonware or download sites.
